Download shows and movies for offline viewing

The Disney+ mobile app lets you download titles to watch without an internet connection. This is useful for travel or areas with limited connectivity.
1

Find a title to download

Open the Disney+ app on your iOS or Android device. Browse or search for a movie or episode you want to save.
2

Tap the download icon

On the title’s detail page, tap the downward arrow icon next to the play button. Episodes in a series will show a download icon per episode.
3

Access your downloads

Tap your Profile icon, then select Downloads to see everything saved to your device. Tap any title to start watching offline.

Storage and download tips

Downloaded titles can use several hundred megabytes to a few gigabytes each depending on video quality and length. A standard movie typically uses 1 to 2 GB.
Disney+ limits the number of active downloads per account. The exact number may vary by plan and region. If you reach the limit, delete older downloads to make room.
Downloads usually remain available for a limited time once you start playback, and some titles expire from your device after a set period. You can renew an expired download by reconnecting to the internet and tapping the download icon again.
Offline downloads are generally available on supported mobile devices for most subscription plans. Availability may vary, so check your current plan details in the app under Account settings.
