You can activate Disney+ on your TV or streaming device by entering an 8-digit code at disneyplus.com/begin. This method is useful when typing a password on a TV remote is difficult.
This is an independent guide and is not affiliated with Disney. Only enter your Disney+ login information on the official disneyplus.com website. Never share your password or begin code with anyone else.

Before you start

  • Make sure your TV or streaming device is connected to the internet.
  • You need an active Disney+ subscription or trial. If you do not have one yet, you can sign up at disneyplus.com.
  • Have a phone, tablet, or computer nearby to enter the code.

How to activate Disney+

Open the Disney+ app on your TV

Launch the Disney+ app on your smart TV, streaming stick, or game console. If you do not have it yet, see Download the Disney+ app.

Select Log In

On the welcome screen, choose Log In. The app will show an 8-digit code on your TV screen.

Go to disneyplus.com/begin

On your phone, tablet, or computer, open a web browser and go to disneyplus.com/begin.

Enter the 8-digit code

Type the 8-digit code exactly as shown on your TV. The code is case-insensitive, but enter the letters and numbers carefully.

Sign in to Disney+

If you are not already signed in, enter your Disney+ email and password on the website. Do not share these credentials with anyone.

Confirm activation

After a few seconds, your TV screen will refresh and log you in automatically.
The 8-digit code typically expires after a few minutes. If the code times out, your TV will generate a new one. Enter the new code promptly.

What happens next

Once activated, your TV or streaming device will stay signed in to Disney+ until you manually sign out or reset the app. You can start watching right away, browse profiles, and set up parental controls if needed.
